s13 tein HA coils question

would it be a bad idea to take the helper spring out of the coilovers?
anyone ever done it?

You can take them out but if your collars are at full low your spring will unseat when you drive up driveways and such.

You may bottom the shocks out too.

That being said, I'm planning on taking the helper springs off of my HAs next weekend.

they are there for a reason.
and my opinion on them is they are terrible. i had a set on my old kouki s14. too stiff in all the wrong places.

What is too stiff? The damping or the springs? Or the helper springs (since this is what the topic is about)?

i had HAs without the helper spring... Never had a problem... except when they blew up cause of the -25Celcius
