anybody with koni shocks/eibach/ground control combo

Hi everybody. I have an s14 that I use for daily driving. Initially my stock damper broke so i had to replace it. So I thought I would go with coilovers since Im going for performance with my sr20 built motor. I went on the forums asking for the most comfortable coilover for the streets of NY and they said tein flex. I bought that suspension and i broke my back everyday going to work. I couldnt take a girl out to dinner because nobody wants to sit in my car. Then I was told to get BC racing because rumor had it they were like stock suspension in terms of comfort. Stupid me goes and buys them, mind you they are smoother than the tein flex and can be stiff as a rock if need be, but they are too stiff for me. I went in my friends car who has buddy clubs and they are stiff too. I want to be able to ride my car in comfort. Any body with the following combo:

-Koni shocks
-Eibach springs
-Ground control sleeves ( so i can lower the car)

Please give me your input regarding this combo and how comfortable it is. I will not take my car to the track. Let me know if I should just go back to stock dampers and lowering springs if the above combo are as stiff as coilovers. I dont want the car to be bouncy, and I hope the ground controls wont make my car bottom out with the koni shocks.

All input is appreciated.
Thanks.

Konis have good damping, and as long as you get a softer spring rate, you should be fine.

Just can't go low with low spring rate...

I would recommend finding someone with
the set up you're interested in and getting a ride
what's soft and comfortable for a person
may not be so for another

case in point, friend got a set of AGX shocks and Eibach Sportlines
that were give to him because the previous owner
felt they were too stiff
we think they are super comfy compared to the HEs and Stances
on our cars

I got the ground control setup but my mechanic is telling me that they are going to be really bouncy. Is that true? are the springs that come with the ground contgrol setup extremely bouncy? I got koni yellows. Please anybody with that setup or experienced it, let me know hwo it felt and how can I remedy it. Thanks.

bouncy is so terrible. bouncy like a caddilac? no it will not be like that. bouncy like tight and stiff, yes it will be like that compared to stock setup

your mechanic does not know what the fuck he is talking about. If he just out and tells you a suspension is going to be bouncy without knowing about it.
Koni's actually ride better than 90% of the stuff out there for our cars. Plus like bigdom said bouncy if not defined could mean a multitude of things to different people. Unless your mechanic has a lot of performance suspension experience or track experience his word is worth a grain of salt when it comes to suspension.

It wasnt the koni shocks he was concerned about, he was concerned about the springs that came with the ground control and that they will be bouncy and very stiff. I have coilovers and they are so stiff, i cant deal with them. I needed something smoother and from what i was reading from the koni/ground control setup that they are much better than coilovers.
