As long as your engine bay oil squirters are functioning there should be no rust.

the owner told me....There is some rust, mostly bolts, and slight edges of metal where the powder coat rubbed off. I don't think it is too extensive. This car was originally in new york, but wasn't driven much during the winter months.

Is there anything I can do to fix the rust? how much would it cost me....... Or should i buy just a stock zenki CLEAN and do the exterior mods?

I swear someone should have banned this kid a month ago. He gets top honors in the 'most pointless thread ever' category.

New York car = rust. Simple as that. He may not admit it, or may not even know it, but it's got rust on it. You can't own a car that far North and not get corrosion.

depends how bad the rust is on it. look at the places listed above where rust is common and if these places look like crusty old pies, then that means the car is going to fall apart as soon as you buy it.

Random fucking threads come up because no one ever asks that question.

Seriously, if you need to ask, sell the car.

If your thread was "where can I expect rust on an S14", I wouldnt want to smack you upside the head. I would also tell you often at the bottom of the shock towers, and in general on the drivers side where brake fluid and shit drips.

But since you didnt, I give you two thumbs down. Epic fail. Feel lucky I didn't put "what does rust look like" in my sig.

Most importantly, get the car on the lift, and look in the wheel wells and generally under the complete underside of the car. If a professional, not you, spots rust, take it to a welder and have him fix it.

^ I agree...if you have to ask these question then you should not be buying a car.

Fucking assbag!

WTF are you talking about!!

What are issues that may arise with rust on a car??
Is that what you want to know?

It all depends on where the rust is,
and how bad it is.
Every case is different!
every rust area effects the different component.
Rust and corrosion under the fuse/relay box is gonna be different then bad rust on a tension rod bracket mounting point............

...............I cant even try and type anything else helpful to you because I just wanna type out swear words right now!!!!
