if you want 17 inch 006 i have 4 17x8 and 2 17x9 for sale for really cheap.like <$90 a wheel pm if your interested. they arent bad just everyone has them, and there kind of heavy but pretty much just a mesh design which is classic and looks good on most cars.

I will offer simply that "worth it" is a relative term, it is your money, with which you may do what you like. I am not the one to judge... They offer attractive sizing at attractive pricing, simple as that.

I do, however, hope you have your flamesuit on, because the vitriol is a-comin' at the mention of Sportmax.

Really it's all about looks, which is subjective. If you think they look good, buy them.

If that is your budget, quit doing the car hobby and focus on pokemon cards instead.

I'm actually selling all of my TEs so that I can get like 20 of them.

Actually not.

But seriously though its your car, your money, and although your not supporting the correct industry its still your car.

We could all tell you how bad of an idea it is, but at the end of it its still up to you.

Weight out your options.

I would say save up a little bit more and buy some used Japanese wheels. 5Zigens are easy to find at a good price, and they are pretty durable. You can even find old Advan wheels in the $500-$900 price range if you know where to look

buy used sportmaxes. thats what i did. came across a deal i couldnt pass up.

then its even cheaper and youre not directly supporting the terrible company thats bringing the industry down.

and then when youre ballin buy some fancy wheels and the sportmaxes are then good sized drift spares.

in the end. fuck it. you like them? buy them. but atleast fit them right.

I have 3800 dollar wheels on my car, they got boring so I spent 800 dollars and made them new wheels.

make sense...

fuck fake wheels, buy nice ones if you get bored, change the color.

done, done.

or you can get a set of cheap 3 piece - wheels with shitty offsets... from rbmotoring.

and get a custom shell from kodiak motorsports.

I haven't gotten a quote from them.. ( no one answered the phone ) but I like the idea, and until proven otherwise its more cost effective then buying jdm 17x12's at full price.

fuck everyone who tells this kid to go find a hobby he can afford just because he jumping into the game where he can. Most of those who are telling him that are from cali anyway(need i say more). Do what you do bro. Buy the wheels roll on them until you get bored, get more money, or both, then buy something else. That's how its done. Jordan doesn't need J's to spank his opponents and you don't need $3800 dollar wheels to validate your spot int the scene. You come in, grow and progress like all the other maggots who are talking shit did.

I have 02s, they roll and IMO they look slightly better than the stock 80s z wheels for the 2 years its going to take me to save up to get the wheels i actually want. The lips do look terrible after a year of dailying them but if they are just a hold over for the time being it shouldnt be an issue.

if you can get them cheap and you know you won't win any car shows or fanboy love on the forums.. then yeah it might be worth it for you. ultimately it is up to you. do you like them? or do you value the swaying opinion of zilvians?

the original definition of Baller is some one who plays basketball. the popular use in common English(American) vernacular "Baller" means some one who spends a lot of money, that as if the only way African-Americans were able to make money is by playing a sport, other than selling drugs. So in reality Baller is a put down on hard working Black Americans or African-Americans.
