What the hell difference does it make to the aftermarket industry if you buy new Sportmaxes or used "real wheels"? If that's the budget you are working with, the so called "real" wheel manufacturers wouldn't see a dime of that money even if Sportmax never existed. You arent hurting anybody by getting new sportmaxes instead of used Works, etc, if your budget would never allow for brand new, more expensive wheels.

i only got my sporty maxes becuase they were stupid cheap used. I dont have 1800$ for the wheels REALLY i want. I would rather have sporty max wheels then my stock saw blades...Aperently sport maxes are causing the downturn of society but they are cheap, strong and they dont look bad so fuck it. Get what you want.

Agreeded..I don't get all these rich Cali kids..If you don't drop 2 grand on some used works then ur not cool..But never mind the fact that there are like 2-3 cars in Formula D on sportmaxs..But they are the down fall of the industry...
I don't know about you I have a house to pay for.So sportmax rims are great..All u fools that think u need to empty ur bank account on a set of wheel are DuMASSis..

Lol at sportmaxxes are strong. Haven't you seen the pic where the entire lip of the wheel is cracked off and broken?

All the people saying they are awesome make up poor excuses why they don't just buy quality used.

I would rather rock real JDM or hell, fuckin USED 15" meshies than rock those cheap POS.

Its too early for me to think what they're copies of, but whenever I see them I think they look like cheap POS.

Also anyone that thinks they're getting a cheap set of NEW wheels never heard if you get what you pay for.

Companies want to back a winner and a skilled driver. they also want to back a good looking car that people will pay attention to. Its basic advertising, youplace all your ads in the best spot where they will get the most exposure.

That spot would be with a winner on a car people would drool over

fuck the anti-hype! they are not rota's no one has busted them daily driving like sterns. yeah they are not light. but yeah they are cheap. they look alright and if you get them for the right price then why not? it's not like they are made out of card board and jb weld. get them because they are cheap not because they are cool. i mean if every applied what they say about those wheels to other things.. like what they eat, who they hang out with, how THEY act then no one would be hating on them.... but nah they are all just hypocrites.

fuck it, i said it, fuck you guys. spend your money on trendy wheels and go eat fucking of the dolla menu. let this guy have his sport maxxs so he can have his 5 dolla foot long. when my car is done.. if it ever gets done, ill fucking rock the shit out of sport maxxs for drifting and daily. and when i want my car to be supper legit i'll be getting custom wheels that everyone will drool over but never run on a track cuz 19' tires are fucking expensive... though not as expensive as the wheels i am looking at.

who cares some people cant afford volks or something like that. I bought my dumb sportmaxes to save money so I could build my 400hp ka-t. Not everyone is all about drifting with 130hp with the hottest wheels everr! Just get what you want and can afford thats my only advise.
