Anyone have a clutch pedal OUT of the car?

I need a measurement for the through bolt that secures the pedal to the bracket assembly. Three years ago when I bought a clutch pedal and parts new I didn't get a bolt with it all and just used one from a spare pedal I had laying around, I never noticed it but the pedal has side play like the bolt isn't the right diameter. I'm pretty sure the bolt didn't come out of a Nissan pedal, so that may be the problem. If that's not it I'm missing a bushing but I'd like to know which one and where it goes.

Just the diameter, thread pitch, and length please.

How in hell does measuring a bolt mean I want to buy it? I am going to buy something when I found out what I need asshole.

So if you ask how to wire a pair of foglights, does that mean you're looking to buy some and are posting in the wrong section?

It is, the S13/S14 share most of the parts within the pedal.

that makes no sense. why dont you read the actual post before you react. you dont say a book is good or bad because you read the title.

As you can see in this photo the bolt is actually not a normal bolt, kinda caught me off guard when i took it out. the tip of the bolt appears to be a 10x1.25 thread but i am gonna have to take it to the hardware store to check it on one of their little thread blocks. after that i can take the measurements if you still want them, i just have to find my measuring tape.

i took this portion of the clutch pedal and slipped it over a lug stud and it was slightly bigger, i want to say that the solid shaft of the bolt is around 13~14mm in diameter. in the photo is a comparison of where the shaft goes through the pedal, the large measurement and where the bolt exits the bracket, the 10mm measurement.

if for some reason you cant source one of these bolts you may be able to drill out the small end of the bracket and find a bolt that will fit snug in the pedal and use that. if not i can probably get you one from the parts store here if i just take them my title.

A few days ago, in a thread that was about paint, you stepped in with a car that you do not own, TOTALLY off topic and posted a picture with "Got Camber?"
That post was mercilessly reported for being out of place. I figured that you were simply a bit confused and let you off with a simple deletion of the post.
Now I see that you're jumping into threads and commenting without even READING the thread? See, it is most important to read the original post when you decides to inject your otherwise unsolicited opinion, so you know what you're responding to. What you're doing is one of the most ANNOYING things in the world, especially when you factor in your getting all butt hurt when people call you on it.
Good going, I see a bright future as a Wal Mart greeter in you.

That's perfect, just what I needed. The bolt I used isn't stepped like that so it appears I just need to order the correct OE bolt, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't another bushing or sleeve inside the pedal I was missing. Some cars like my Lexus use a sleeve too and without it the bolt wobbles in the pedal. Funny after stripping apart nearly 100 of these cars I've never taken apart a clutch pedal, I just sell them outright without ever bothering to look at one.

Hey Russ, if thats the same bolt im thinking...isnt there a plastic bushing that it slides into on the pedal?!?! Can you just be missing that plastic piece, to get rid of the play?

Is that white piece on the pedal a bushing?

I have the outer bushings, they fit on the pedal but don't go all the way through I don't think. The parts fiche for the clutch pedal the dealer uses is damn horrible, the blowup is done so shitty you can't tell where anything goes. I'm probably just going to order all the hardware besides the springs because I know those are right. Or I may just push the fucker off a cliff and wave goodbye.

Seems I got it, there is no sleeve so I guess the bolt I used isn't stepped. I'll order it tomorrow.
