step one. buy 4 blocks of billet aluminum one inch larger than the size you want.
step two. pay someone to design your wheels in CAD.
step three. send to machine shop that can cut the wheels.
step four. wait one month or more for your custom wheels.

I would only need two blocks of billet aluminum, I only need 2 wide wheels , 9.5 on front is wide enough, for rears I want 18X12 though.

Where do I buy billet aluminum?

I have no idea who could design my wheels here in SD, Same for step three. BTW, what's CAD?
By the sound of this, looks like it would be cheaper to buy some work equips? lol

A Spec Products, thanks dude, that pretty much answered my question.

And thanks everyone for the help
you're buying sportmax's, but you can afford custom forged wheels? something doesn't line up here

I think your conversion math is waaaaaaaaayy off.

And you want to run 9.5s up up front and 12s in the rear? Wow... Have fun with that stagger...

Are SSR's the best wheels I can get for the price? I can't find the price anywhere but I think I remember I saw them for cheap somewhere, or atelast cheaper then other wide wheels out there, it says call for pricing on every online store that sells them, around how much do 18X12's(ssr's) go for? they make'm in 4 lug too, so I wouldn't even have to change the hubs.

soreballz, give me some numbers then man, help me out

I checked out the wheels at aspec, I don't see any 18X12, would I just have to wait for some to come by, or how does it work?

Just PM him and ask. 18x12 is going to be a little harder find than say, 18x10, since that is a BIG wheel for most people

if you can afford real wheels in 18x11, then stop looking at sportmaxs.
Hit up logan or grant, they can hook you up

SSR are generally a bit cheaper because many of them are 2 piece. Most companies don't sell a 12" wide wheel in 2 piece.

oh my god, this thread is like watching the special Olympics.

Oberra, just get used wheels in a kickass size. Clearly you don't have the budget for custom made, and Sportmax with spacers is a lame choice.

Why are you getting 50mm overfenders instead of fixing dents? You do realize that you'll have to radius your quarter panel if you want to actually get full benefit from the overfender right? That's more work than fixing dents. Also, there is such a thing as 30mm overfenders.

Take a step back, start over, look at each element on its own, then piece them together. Right now you're going about it illogically.

Pank, I contacted A Spec yesterday, so I'll see what's up. And I can only afford 2 wide wheels right now, that's why I was looking at sportmaxes cause I could just get the set, besides I like the look of them, the only problem is that they don't make them wider, but fuck it I guess I'll just get some wide wheels, I kinda hate the idea of using spacers my self, it's just that the real shit is expensive...

The dents are just an excuse for getting overfenders dude, I know it would be a lot cheaper to just fix the dents. I know there's 30mm overfenders, but if im gonna get overfenders might as well get them in 50mm, I like the look of the wide body, I know if I don't do it im not gonna be completely happy with my car, Id rather wait, save up some money and do it right the first time, I don't want to just fix dents, stay with the body like that, paint the car, then decide that I want to go wide body.

exactly. Just be patient. Save your cash and get some sick ass wheels the first time instead of pissing away a grand on sportmaxes and realizing what a waste it was.

nothin wrong with 50mm overfenders. But you're gonna hafta be prepared (cashwise) for all this stuff because you'll need to do your fenders at the same time as wheels to get your fitment right. Good luck..

You're gunna keep stock front fenders and 50mm rears? Going with 30mm fenders is not only a better idea, it will look better and you won't need crazy wide wheels. Unless you're putting 400+ to the ground an 11.5 or 12" wheel is just gunna mean big money tires

and your point is? BBS is kind of "old" as well wouldnt you say? you dont see ruah welt, porsche AG or F1 complaining do you? Jlines are very good wheels for the money, made to your liking, forged, light, good looking. i see nothing wrong with them.

if you want some shitty beater rims in custom sizing check out diamond racing wheels, im talking REALLY shitty steel pressed rims here, but they come in any offset you can imagine.

for fronts I would like to go with 25 or 30mm overfenders and 18X10 wheels.

96turbo, yup I need to save some cash so I can do all this at the same time.

Well, BBS makes lots of different designs, models, applications, and they also invented the multipiece racing wheel as we know it in the early 70s, and continue to make some of the highest quality products in the industry which is why everyone still pays out the asshole for their stuff and tons of OEMs use them.
They basically invented what Jline sells.

JLine makes like, a few wheels, most of which are pretty derivative. And they've been around for 5 years.
And I'm pretty sure they don't even make them themselves.
And they come in anodized pink.

I forgot to ask, if I want my wheels to sit flish with the 50mm overfenders, do I HAVE to get 18X12? Im planning on running some negative camber, I need some help with this, cause it's not just the width, offset has to do with it too right?
