like i said before ill host whenever, it would just be more convenient for th people coming down the coast from canada, WA, OR, ect, because i live in norcal but if your planning on staying longer than the concention and want to caravn back up thats no prob. Im planning on just staying down there the days of the covention then coming back up here.

Also consider that Canadian 'reading week' (Spring Break) takes place mostly in February. I know from trips in the past that schools from Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin and other places have their spring break in February as well.
This is all very true. No time will work for everyone, but I think the time that will work for the most people is a summer time meet. I for one also have my spring break in February and April is basically a no go the entire month as that's final exam time for most schools with a Feb. spring break. I think the period of Beginning of June to end of August is the best range to plan for maximum attendance. Just IMHO.

I used to live in socal, it's not THAT hot in the summer... Unless you're not used to it.

I'll probably come in any case though... Hell I missed two weeks of school straight to go trekking around South America on a whim.

I hope *fingers crossed* that I can drag my RHD Z down for this. Might look out of place, but it would be a roadtrip with her to remember.

IF there IS a caravan coming down to So Cal, and you guys take the 5/99... You'll have to pass through Bakersfield, and IF I happen to still work at this hotel, I'd be more than welcome to give anyone a really good deal to make a pit stop for a night. Hampton Inn - pool, free hot breakfast, gym, free wi-fi...etc... This is assuming I still am working here at the time of the event, haha.

I am definitely down for an event like this. However, I would need some time to properly return from the "beach" and get my car up to speed to make that trip. Depending on the date, I may or may not be back in the states in time.

To Wake BHR:

Russian and German chicks are live, but a lot of folks may hate on you because you have hot chicks with you, lol. I take it you live in Germany. That is definitely a hotspot. I miss my 200SX............

I say K1 Speed for kart racing.

Way better than Speedzone.

If we're spending money on kart racing, K1 is the way to go.

If people want to fly in for this event, I wouldn't mind giving a few people rides from the airport.

Brother works at LAX.

Plus, it's like a 15-20 minute drive for me regardless of traffic.

Haha.

Well, I have access to a 7 seater mini van and a 3 seater small pick up truck that can fit tons of shit in the back.

So, if anybody needs some form of transportation in Socal, PM me.

All i know is im going to make the drive from philly. A year ago i told myself i would go to this and now its just under a year away. I dont mind helping set up a caravan from the east coast / north east, but it will take alot of planning, navigation, and people who abide by the follow the leader rule and not the 3 beeps and go rule that ive seen in most caravans. Deffinately making three to four stops along the way to there, and id be willing to meet up with any other caravans coming from outside of cali on my way there. Ive never been off the east coast and flying to a car meet just doesnt seem right if my car isnt there. On the other hand if there is a track day, id be one pissed mother fucker if my car breaks and im stuck in cali lol. Oh well if someone has any ideas feel free to PM me but I will probably start thinking up some ideas for the caravan and getting a list together come October/November just to get a little heads up on how many people and try and spread the word a little more before its too late to call out of work haha.

everybody should just use this map:

from:new york ny to:39.520992,-86.835937 to:I-44 W to:los angeles - Google Maps

and hop on wherever's convenient. the caravan itself can post regularly on Zilvia stating where we are so other 240 guys know when to be waiting for us to roll through

...alternately a route going to SFO first would be cool because then we could bomb down the PCH to LA
