If its too good to be true, then it probably is... Id be scared of anything with that many mods and really high mileage. From my experience, when people sell their cars its because theres something wrong that they don't want to deal with anymore. I really can't tell you yes or no since I'm not there to look at it up close so ill end this post by just saying if you decide to pick it up be prepared to spend some real time on it. Good luck!!

I think as long as you're buying it as a project, it would be worth it, as long as the car hasn't been wrecked or repaired with a bucket full of bondo. If you are looking at a clean car other than the high mileage then go for it. You could at least drive the car while you prep the SR for install. Or sell the SR and go another route LS1, VQ, KA-t, VH, if you so choose. Just know that the current drivetrain has taken a long period of abuse and will need overhaul or replacement relatively soon.

I actually say no.
the parts add up.

But the SR isnt in.
and you can get cars that are built and running well for cheaper.

I would absolutely pass.

The engine is done. So first thing you have to do is swap in a SR20.

Is it gonna be a full track car??
Cause the wing needs to go otherwise.

Out of style rims. (to each his own, but if im buying a 6K car, i want something modern and in style)

Body kits are cheap in LA. mines fiberglass, cheapo, but $370 for almost an identical style.

Seats, so what.

Suspension is coil overs, sways, and...thats it for 6K??

horid hood fitment, thank god it has hood pins!! that much gap at 90mph could be an issue!!!

cool tails, but if its Altezzas with smoke, c'mon.

what else it have????

1.5 diff, not to bad. you should test it though.

the clutch stuff, not so sure. Why put all that clutch work on a engine with 200,000 plus miles??
makes no sense.

Here in SoCal, you can buy S13's all day that already have a SR's and coil overs.

, buy a used 2way, used seats, wheel, rims, body kit and cheap paint.

And you have a even better car right there!!

But if you really feel its good for you or you have no ability to look for these things yourself, then save someone from a project they got over thier head in, and help pay thier rent.
