This is one of those cases, where I don't understand how the fuck you guys get all this money to build your car, at that rate of speed. I'm fucking working 120 hour weeks, just to buy parts, and i'm barely making enough to pay it back. Doesn't really seem like you NEED Work to sponsor you. I mean goddamn the shit you already have...Call me a hater, I just don't get it. Someone fill me in on the secret, of speed modifying. Good news is, I just got a second job. So, my hours should be doubled what i'm making right now. Hopefully, I can complete my car, before, I die of exhaustion.

Selling my last car definitely did help. But I just kept my mind set on saving for this build. So there were a lot of times I stayed home rather then go out, eating pb and j sandwiches doing whatever I can to save money.

I wish my job payed well but it really doesn't. So patience and saving is the name of the game, and goddamn i don't have patience

I hardly go out too. Good thing, i'll be working 2 jobs. If things go right, my car should be done early next year. Nice seats, I might go with the same set-up.

UPDATE:

I have held off on the paint at the moment. I am waiting to receive the wheels from Work Wheels USA, which is actually on its way. I want to make sure the rear wheel fitment is spot on before painting the car. Will hold me back a week or so, but it will be worth the wait

wow i just discovered this build. i personally like everything you've done and i like how you are saving your money.

if you get sick of pb and j, you can get a bag of jasmine rice for close to nothing, and some black beans. healthy and cheap lol, tha'ts what i've been on, it's sad how i care more about my car than eating.

but yeah dudes save your money..i work two jobs, i don't have any days off, i don't go out, but DO have a GF, it was either go out to dinner one night, or greddy oil filter relo...damn winey gfs.

if you don't mind me asking, how did you obtain a work wheels sponsorship??? i'm pm'ing you about this also.

I approached them as you would any company. I put together a proposal and hoped for the best

They were very interested in my build, and i'm very grateful for that. I wasn't looking to build a magazine show stopper, just a car that I personally like. So for Work to join in on my build is a great compliment. I guess I was doing something right?

I'm looking forward to representing them, its the least I can do. I'm just an individual builder, no shop put this together. For them to lend a helping hand is an awesome gesture. Thanks a lot Jim @ Work!

Also a big thanks to Van @ OneTonGarage.com for sourcing the aero. Its hard to come by, but he made it possible.

damn man your build is truly inspiring, I'm pretty much doing what you did, saving up as much as possible to build MY car. Maybe when I'm ready I can pick up some sponsors also.
