S14 seat recommendations.

I have the stock seats in my car and i'm six foot three. if i attempt to wear a helmet i need to open the sunroof. which i'm not trying to do. I'm looking for recommendations on a good seat that sits alot lower than stock. and is prefferably comfortable and fits a wide waist.

I just posted in the F1 Spec sales thread somebody has. I'm also 6'3" and I have enough room in my Momo seat to wear a helmet and still clear the sunroof.

The key is losing the sliders. Wedge Engineering makes brackets that have multiple holes in them, so you position the seat where you want it and then bolt it in. Seat sits uber low, and then combined with a good steering wheel/hub setup, you have the most comfortable seating position.

But forget about sliders if you want to be able to get low for cheap. I've heard the Bride rails are almost as low, and integrate sliders, but I've never done a head to head comparison. And Wedge brackets are only $80.

which bride sliders are you talking about? I have some bride sliders with my bride zeta III, i'm 5'8, and i could barely clear the roof with a helmet on. but i also sit very upright and close to the wheel.

The Bride "FG" low mount sliders/rails are the ones everyone I know runs. Justin @ West Covina Nissan (thenismoshop.com) had them in stock a while ago, sometimes FR Sport has 'em too. They're around $180.

Height is easy to fix with either shorter or custom sliders

As for comfort, the best advice is to first decide what you want out of the seat. Is it a daily? Is performance or comfort more important? Is price important? After you decide what type of seat you need the next thing to do is to go to a shop and try all the seats you're thinking about buying, I'm 5'6" 155 so if I tell you a seat is comfortable it really means nothing to you since I'll pretty much fit in a baby seat. Just try them out and see what you like.
