you should get at kogington (sp) to make a custom front bumper to match height with those sides, I mean it looks semi-awkward with such a high front and flared stock front fenders ( i know ull figure out some air dam for the front, but I think you can circumvent that by making a fb the way you wanted)

was there any reason to put the the fender flares rather than some fiberglass 30mm's or something? we all wanna see this car on the track like nowwwwwwwww

There is a whole section of front end that isn't on in those photos. I'm too cheap to buy fiberglass that actually looks good so I wanted the fit of the factory ones. I might make bodywork next year as well and the metal ones will work well to make molds. I want to get it on the track too! Thursday morning...

There have been times when his car reminds me of mine for some reason. Now I know I'm not crazy. Koguchi and other self built drifters like Haruguchi were inspirational to me when first building my car. There weren't any S13 roadrace/time attack cars to get me fired up so koguchi's green/white car was what started my love of 180sx.

that was probably this video:

But we rebuilt the car in the pits in 1 hour, and had her on the track later in the afternoon. That was Sept 2007, and now the new specification is what you see here.

In other news... DSG has also gotten my car - the RASpec Impreza up and running as of late.

Russ,
I killed them in a fit of rage. They were crappy replica ones that fit like shite. Hit me up on IM today if you are on there.

The paint reminds me of integra's at HIN in the late 90's (add some supra tails and r34 front headlights. oh...and shave everything, and I mean, EVERYTHING.. )

now just needs some numbers on the side, some odd companies hardly anyone on zilvia knows, and you're good to go.

Well hopefully the car and yourself will be around on Friday, I'm going to make it down from the hills up here. I need to pick up one of those great shirts you guys have and actually check out the famed Dent Sport.

Smurf blue + white wheels and graphics will look like a effin cloud floating around the track at very high speeds! LOL! Look at the porsche in the pic on the previous page, It looks good with the black wheels. Light blue and white is just not enough of a color contrast for me.

man, this thread is cracking me up. I'm with max on this one. And I love clouds. My cloud will be doing the floaty dance around the track. I can't ever have a race car without white wheels again, unless they are te37s, then they can be any color, or BBS 3 piece mesh wheels in gold. Someday I'll invest in some light wheels and two piece rotors. Money can save me another 50+ lbs in unsprung weight.

Also, the car is darker in person than in the photos.

I don't think black wheels would work. The white doesn't look bad, but I'd almost be tempted to spray them orange and color match the vinyls... Gulf GT40 anyone?

This effectively increases the scrub angle of the rear tires, in relation to the direction of inertia, which in theory makes the rear of the car "fight" to stay in line more. It also allows you to run less static toe-in while retaining the same dynamic effects while cornering. That theoretically means the same corner exit speed (or more) with a higher speed at the end of the straight due to the reduced amount of rolling resistance thanks to the ability to run less static toe-in. I believe you want the right amount of toe change rather than the least amount of toe change.
Hmm... last time I had the rear of my car up in the air and I was messing with my toe/camber settings, I could have sworn that the S13 subframe on my car started to give me toe OUT when the wheels were being jacked up from droop to compression...

Unless you're talking about the toe settings from the rear of the wheel instead of the front of the wheel?
