they are not shiny, its suede in the middle and leather on the sides. they hold you in very nicely and are very comfortable

Actually the entire kit is a URAS Type 2 kit. AIT makes a knockoff of it.

What could cause this to my spark plugs and do I have to take my head off to get the tips of the spark plugs or can I just put new ones in?

k, here's one for you guys.

See the holes around the inlet in this turbo?

Well wtf are they there for? Do they connect somewhere or something.. I have seen a few turbos like this with holes or slots around the inlet, and never understood wtf they do..

edit: here's one with the slots that I spoke of..

The slots are to relieve compressor surge better to relieve load on the compressor wheel in surge conditions.

If you have a good BOV, I think this is pretty f-ing retarded. As this will make the intake air turbulent and cause more restriction.

Yes, it's a anti surge housing.

No, a BOV will do nothing to help surge on spool up. This is for people that pick a compressor bigger then their engine can flow. So much so that it's off the compressor map and starts back flowing during spool up. The anti-surge housing bleeds off air so that you don't rip the vanes off the compressor.

Surge on off throttle is a completely different event.

The top ones are marked 18x10, but there aren't any other casting marks on them. I'm thinking about buying them from a friend, and neither of us knows what they are.

Anyone??
