This was my old car which i sold...it was aztec red..the darkest shade...its the 91-93. factory paint...stuff was kinda expensive...
1 base coat
2 coats of red
2 clears.

Basici prep..all paint was machine mixed..and jams done...it was a pretty good job...I think the new owner liked it...it was a non beat on car.

orig color was 1990 factory red...kinda lighter orange one...

Does anybody have paint specs on the rb26 mustang from tokyo drift?Maybe Im blind but it looks like a dark green with a little bit of blue wonder if it would look nice on a 240.

Nissan red's are weak, I parked next to Mazda and Dodge Viper and theirs red paint stand out much more.

I love red cars and want most lively and bright red out there for my s13.
Any suggestions/examples?

You'll never find out exactly what color it is. Pearl white cannot be scanned, I dont care what anyone tells you, it has never worked even once for me and I have tried it on well over 40 different cars with 5 different scanners.

Best thing you can do is figure out what tints you can see in your white, then focus on what color pearls you have in it and go from there with tinting.

he used the old red as base coat...laid two layers of AZTEC red on top and cleared... it's changing color anyway
