A clean kouki
... is a happy kouki.


Mild editing with The Gimp to clean up the grainyness and improve the color (so-so camera...), and resized for my desktop. Shot while standing in the bed of dad's truck, right after a much-needed car wash.


The paint is plain Dupont black, a clear coat with Color Horizon "Lightning FX" thunder blue microflakes mixed in, and a plain clear coat on top.





Looks dark blue under diffuse light/sky



Strong direct light reveals the subtle blue glitter

Coming soon (hopefully): installing new wheels and tires

Does anyone know the name of the Blue paint that comes on the

2007 Mugen Honda Civic Si, i know its like Fuji something just not sure of the full name but its also a very awesome color in person.

The idea came from an S14 i saw with flakes on the roof only...and then i went to a flake website and saw a guitar with holographic flakes and i loved it.. i didnt want that many flakes but hey..it was the first time..and i still think it came out great..

so there will be distinction..
