Maximum TIRE(Rubber) fitment thread

I guess so, haha. I had just gotten back from the drag strip, and I didn't drop tire pressure at all so I'm sure they were a little ballooned. Since this car sees a lot of street action/daily driving, I told the alignment tech to just get it close to stock. I used to run -3* up front when I had the coilovers, and that was just brutal on the tires.

Which reminds me, I need to get them sent out to get serviced, haha.

Sounds like a fairly decent set up. I plan on going with your width/offset specs essentially, only 18s not 19s, but your offsets look right with stock body/minor fender work. I think for the size tires, you'll at least have to do a roll front/rear, and possibly a small pull in the rear. My rears are pulled already, and I plan on using the same tire width and same wheel offset with near stock camber/stock toe.

Does anybody have any advice on what tire size would fill out my wheel well a little better? i have some xxr 006 18x8.5 215 35 in the front and 18x9.5 225 40 in the rear... pics would help. thanks

HEY are there any other pictures of this car? I would like to see what it looks like with the fns I plan on painting my car soon but im gonna go with a dark metallic gray or something similar to the RX330 or there is a lambo color that is similar that I like.

Thread revival, specs are F18x10 +8 R18x10 +18 with 245/40 and 275/35 respectively. I know these sizes are a tag small compared to some of you guys, but this the biggest I can fit under stock S15 guards.

Stock ride height? My FMIC sits 3.6 inches off the ground. My car sits on a 2inch drop buddy.

volk gt-cs and just want some advice on tires.

i bout 3 FK452s 245-40s for the rear... i think it would be a good stretch but i need some tires for the front..

should i do 215-40 or 225-35 ???

Yeah it is pretty funny here that people would rather ruin their suspension geometry than have their car mistaken for stock ride height.

I agree. I actually do like the appearance of slammed cars as well. Priority for my car is handling, so I raised it up a little bit. I'm just venting a little bit - not at you - just at people who don't respect other peoples' cars because their priorities aren't the same...

o no problem at all..
i wasn't even trying to be a dick to the guy or anything.. it just looked stock and figured a spring/strut setup the tire would touch the spring.

i had to put 15mm spacers up front to clear the coils.
17x9 +27 w/235/45
17x10.5 +26 8mm spacer w/255/40

350z 17" staggered (+33F and +30R offset plus a 5mm spacers). 2deg camber all around.
