| Zilvia Member ![]() | couple more questions. would i be better off going with 17X10 +25 or +35 in the back of my stock bodied S13. (pulled fenders). il be running 275/40/17. and would a 17X10 +25 rub the coils in the front? thankyou Deven |

| Zilvia FREAK! ![]() | 17x10 +25 won't fit up front I'm 17x10 +18 and I'm extremely close as for rear use wheel offset calculator +25 would probably be better considering your fenders are already pulled

Typically I've been running 17x9 +35 with 275/40 RA-1's for track days. I use a 5mm spacer, but probably only need a 2mm spacer if that for tire/coilover clearance. Look back through this thread to find my full writeup... ![]()

| can't knock the hustle ![]() | ^^^Soooooo fucking sexy, I want a z-32! My new set-up. 17x9 +12 gram lights 57 maximum with 255/40/17 falken azenis rt-615's (still ). The car needs an alignment as I lowered it another 3/8" but the camber is somewhere around 3-3.5* front and 2.5-3* rear right now. I plan on running 3* front and 1.5* rear camber once I get it aligned with 0 front toe and 1/16 rear toe in.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Hi cool guys!! I have an S13 with RB26 800hp! My wheels are Nismo LMGT4. Front 18x8.5 with 225-40-18 Toyo R888 -1deg camber Rear 18x9.5 ET30. I am thinking to put rear 285/35 or 285/30 or 295/30 Toyo R888! What do you suggest me? I have stock fenders with a little "touched out fenders" not lip over at the momement. I have coilovers and full aligment kit front rear with ball joint. For drag races I use rear stock shocks with 26x11.5-15 in 15x8 Weld racing DragLites 5.5backspae(et 25) with 0camber At the following fotos the rear tires are 235 unknown shit tires ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | |

| Premium Member ![]() | If 2 is better than 1, then 4 is better than 2 :P Blah 2 seaters suck. Too short a wheelbase. Look in Japan, all the raced out Z32s are 2+2s. Quote:
2+2s are around 3400-3500.

| | #685 |
| ^^^^^^ Not meaning to start an arguement... Optimal wheel base depends on what kind of racing the car is used for; a shorter wheel base would be better for autox and small courses, where as the 2+2 would probably be better for larger, higher speed courses. wheel bases: 2 seater: 96.5 in. 2+2: 101.2 in. ^(I really doubt 5in. makes that much difference for general driving purposes) As far as curb weights go, the tt's are a bit heavier (due to turbo's, hicas) at about 3500 lbs. Nissan 300ZX (Z32) Performance Statistics Regardless, a car can still handle well despite extra weight (new GT-R for example, 3800 lbs.?). That being said, less weight is usually better. In the end, it all comes down to which one fits you better as far as performance needs go or which one looks better to you. Personally, Function > Form.

Granted, the shorter wheelbase is nice for autocrosses, but IMO, the 2+2 is the more ideal chassis for the majority of driving events, such as road racing and drifting. Has a more neutral feel to it, while the 2+0 has the natural tendency to snap.

| Interesting, I've driven a z32 2 seater a little (both as n/a and tt), now I'm curious to see how a 2+2 drives... Good to know. Very nice z by the way. A question for JRas: How close is your wheel/tire to the coilover in the front? If you have a picture... Just considering wheel options for a project and the 10" rpf1's were some I was looking at. -Thanks

| can't knock the hustle ![]() | What coilovers are you running? The +25's clear mccoy's koni set-up. They MIGHT clear tein's with a 3-5mm spacer.
