Well, I am glad there is now one thread for all this, but I think it is time for the pictures. I don't have any new pictures to add. But I could stop at the side of the canyon road I drive on the daily to work, and take pictures of the rosaries and the crosses and the debris from the car accidents that happen from guys on bikes and kids in cars driving beyond there limits in a road they don't know.

To end the debate between street and track we should just combine the two.
Have some random guy just drive onto the track and have deer run out onto the road in the middle of the track, and let random people with there families just drive the track with you. That way we can all learn on the track and have the same risks as the street so we can stay sharp and learn quicker!!!!!
Anyway, you learn where you learn, I just wish all these kids killing themselves and getting tickets in the canyons would not ruin our scene like the street drag racing guys did for the Honda's.

But back to the pictures, that bluish silver thirteen was gorgeous, sorry you got smashed, did you fix her or get another one?

short version
a car coming the opposite direction as me mad a left right in front of me as i was going are 70mph so i slammed on the brakes, they locked up and boom.
almost killed one of my best friends. he had a skateboard in between his legs that he hit his head on.

everyone was so the car that scared me just took off.

Rain day, the car was parked in front of my house on my street. Im driving home in another car. Pull onto my street to see the neighbor sliding here astro van around the corner. Misses another neighbors truck, counters it, and go straight into my beautifully clean 89 :-( Needless to say, the Astro van was fine. lol

I didn't do this. A friend of mine was out one night messing around in a
parking lot and misjudged a bit and hit a cement pole. He was going on an
open diff, stock suspension, completely stock motor and stock SE wheels.

The bumper was hanging off, the trunk didn't close, and if you look by the
passanger door, you can't see it in these photos, but there's a gap
almost .5 inches between the edge of the door and the quarter panel from
the hit. The door still closes fine and all, but that gap is irritating.
Absolutely nothing else was affected. It was just cosmetic.

I ended up buying it off of him a few months later for $700.00

The bumper and trunk line up fine now, but that quarter is still an eyesore.

I still don't know how I'm going to go about fixing it. The plan was to just
get a set of 30mm overfenders to throw on. Yeah, it'll clean it up a bit,
but if you look, the whole corner where the tail light ends is messed up
and overfenders won't cover that up. If you open the gas door it's all
mangled in there, too. I can barely get gas because the pump goes just
far enough so that the nozzle is in.

that music was terrible, but when it stops for the replay and then it does multiple replays I laughed my ass off. Cause all you hear is the tiny 195 squealing and then CRUNCH!!! no more 195 tire squealing

Haha the first few times I saw it was was dieing.
He was sooooo pissed that night because it was one of the cleanest coupes around
and he picked it up for only like, $300 at an auction, original 5spd. Then this
happened and it was all down hill from there.

She was uninsured. they ended up giving me what i paid for it, then i parted it out and sold the rest to pick a part. I came up about $400, but a very clean shell was destroyed so it was in no way worth it. the sad thing is i had just bought the car and had not even got a chance to really start working on it.
