No clue. It just keeps happening no matter what. I'm going 5 lug, new wheels, forged studs, and expensive/legit as fuck lug nuts to stop this. And make sure I have warranty on all of it so if it happens again imma knock heads together.

I think you just need to use some steel lugnuts and learn what a torque wrench is.

Very nice sr.

My s13 had the original 16 studs and OEM style lug nuts, never broke one(230k on chassis.) Something is being done wrong.

I still have the original lug studs and I don't even use a torque wrench. I crank em tight as fuck too.

still sounds like your doing it wrong.. should be done with a hand torque wrench at 80-90ibs, nothing more, nothing less, in a star pattern. Learned this in highschool and I always stuck by it.. not with an impact gun. I've drilled out the s13 front hub to 5lug and used cheap auto store studs and never had any problems.

old pics to stay on topic

Nice to see some other Proteges. I wish the FSDE was a better motor but they tend to blow up pretty easy. Of course neither of my 240's has been any better hahaha.

MSP to this:

I guess it worked out ok...?
