I have for sale my 83 DR30 skyline. It has a FJ20ET that pulls very hard. This car is the only DR30 that is CA legal. I just got it smoged and paid the registration for the year. Since I have got the car I had done the following:
New radiator, Odyssey battery, new alternator, new water temp sensors for both the ECU and gauges, New AFM, wired the fans to relays, and installed a set of bump steer spacers . On the interior I have finished the rear shelf with a NOS piece, made some pieces to cover the wheel arches next to the back seat, installed rear seat belts, installed a few new dash switches to replace broken ones, fixed the seat rails to sit a little lower and not wiggle, and put in the rubber that goes between the rear quarter window and the door.
I have a box of parts to go with the car, some manuals( in Japanese), some aero(front lip and rocker covers), and a bolt in roll bar. The roll bar was installed but I took it out to make more room inside the car.
The new AFM and the little tuning that has been done to make the car smog-able has made the car better to drive and made the boost go up.

Update: clutch master cylinder has been rebuilt. The old one leaked. Also has had the front rotors turned and new pads installed. They were just 300zx brake parts. So they are easy to buy local. Don't have to get them from Japan.
Car is off the market.

Unless it's now missing, you're forgetting the following:

- Jenesis coilovers (R30 tuning house) with Cusco camber plates in front
- adjustable shock/lowering spring combo in the rear, can't remember what kind
- Cusco strut bar

Also, for prospective buyers, even though this car is now eligible for import, this is the only one you can have in CA without any headaches. It's gone through the process, is in the smog system, and has a BAR label. If you try to import one, you'll be stuck in a smog lab quagmire, throwing thousands upon thousands of dollars at the car, without any probability of success.

Also, for whoever buys it, I recently found both the "SKYLINE" and the "DOHC turbo RS" trunklid badges while cleaning out the garage

^^I still have the car trader magazine from the very first Formula drift show, this car is in it when a dealer had it, glad to see it's still in as good a shape as all those years ago!

FYI, when I had it, I rented it out to Universal for use in Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift. It was in the parking lot drift scene

Ya way back when it had a blown turbo, cloged radiator, bad alternator, AFm that was going out, and missing lots of little hard to find parts for the interior. So ya it was back then.

ugh if I didn't just buy a motorcycle i would buy this car now.

This or a R32 are two cars I would really love for a 2nd ride and this is the best looking Skyline of either model that i've ever seen.

I could get a fairly mint Porsche 911SC for this price from the same year, however this Skyline is worthy of every penny more so that the porsche in my eyes.

edit: also pre-facelift looks best imo
