1996 Nissan 240SX SE - 5 spd - $3,950 OBO (reduced from $4,250 6/26/09). 219,000 miles. New clutch, new brakes, new tires, new spark plugs. Replaced alternator, battery, timing chain cover gasket, valve cover gasket, and front main seal last year. Runs great. Only code thrown is the emissions solenoid on the evaporation canister; no emissions testing here, so I never fixed it since it doesn't effect performance. This car has been my daily driver and auto-x toy for the past five years (bought with 165,000 miles on it). Burgundy paint is faded and clearcoat is peeling. No major dents, but there are quite a few door dings. Shift boot is missing. Always used Mobil 1 Synthetic in engine, and Redline Synthetic in transmission and differential. Tien lowering springs installed 3 years ago (eliminated quite a bit of body roll). VLSD works intermittently (enough to throttle steer through corners, but not enough to endlessly light tires up). Aftermarket Pioneer 'bottom-rung' stereo installed last year. Speakers are weathered and crackle a bit at volume. A/C has never worked. I'm located 50 miles north of Pittsburgh (Butler, PA). I picked up my 350Z recently, and, as much as it pains me to sell the 240, I just don't have the time (or space in my garage) to give the 240 the attention it deserves.
