NOW for sale: asking price is 2500 OBO

found a 300zx i realllllly want. So this has got to go ASAP. I can deliver it up to a few hundred miles away from wilmington, nc.

Im just seeing what kind of trade offers i get. I know its not the most amazing swap or anything but its definitely unique. Not to mention this car has a perfect body and besides cracks in the dash the interior is supah clean. Odometer reads 132K miles...dont know if its correct or not.

Things that need to be fixed:
The only gauge that works is the fuel gauge since VG gauges are sposed to be cables and not electronic
Theres a weird vibration up front..feels like the wheels need to be balanced.
Exhaust rattles when you get into the higher RPM's
No A/C

Is that a JDM VG30E? It doesnt look like it's from a Z31 or a Pathfinder. Anyways, hella unique swap.

I guess its a JDM maxima VG...so that would make it the W version with a little bit more power. Yeah its definitely unique...fun to put around town in. And you couldnt tell by looking at the car that its been touched. Looks bone stock.

Haha just saw this a national haha 960 hp haha from one 300 to half of one the car is clean as fuck nice body!!!

Sundrop hood ornamints are nice!

Alright so basically the aftermarket is alright. The stock bottom ends on the VG30E'
s are good up to 450 HP. The n/a motors compression is still only 9;1. It SHOULD lay down close to 160 whp but its also pretty much a bone stock motor. If i had the extra money id go strap it onto the dyno but i put all my extra cash into preventative maintnance on this car. And haha axle i forgot about the can that dustin put in my bumper so now everytime i get between the 3-4K rpm range i can hear it making noise.
And yeah so far ive had a 300zx, a 240sx...and now what i like to call this...a 340ZX..lol.

But yeah its a fun little car. The power steering is leaking though...which doesnt really bother me but i know other people would probably care about that.

he is probly talk to the body how it is in good shape I I'd say it is clean for 20 years old and no rust don't knock some one elses shit cuz u don't like it

Yes when i say clean i do mean the body. Im sorry my paint isnt pretty...lol. But yeah the car is dent and rust free...so dont hate sonnn. Ill still drag your ass backwards any day of the week!! lol.

Never knocked it, just pointing out that calling a faded old paint job with scuffs all over the bumpers and stuff is not "super clean". I'm not sure if that's what you east coast guys call your cars out there, but over here that looks like any ordinary 20+ yr old car on the road that we call "beater" cars. Not because I like/dislike the car...it's just plain truth. Pictures say a thousand words.

If you wanted to say it has a clean body, just say: "Car has a clean body". Gross-exaggeration is not needed when trying to help a buddy sell the car, honesty does. I've went to go look at cars that people has supposedly called "super clean" before and trust me, it looks like a POS in person.

2. temp gauge is not cable.
3. what trans is in the car?

Yeah man i know the tach and temp guage arent cable. Was just rushing through the initial post. Ive been meaning to get the tach and temp gauges working. Trans is out of a 84-89 300zx along with the ecu. Dont know about the driveshaft...ill get pics of the mounts...and its the stock oil pan for the vg30e.

there are 3 different transmissions for 84-89 300zx

is the driveshaft a 1 piece, or 2 piece?

vg30e comes in a lot of vehicles. m30, 300zx, 200sx, maxima, quest van, pathfinder, truck.... is it a front sump pan or a rear hacked to fit?
