1993 S13 240sx Convertible, Very Nice, In WV

Up for sale (reluctantly) is my 1993 S13 240sx convertible. I have owned this car for 2.5 years, and in that time have rebuilt/replaced/upgraded almost every area of this rare car. It is a far cry from the car I received in September of 2005. The buyer of this car is getting a very, very solid and nice S13.

When I bought it in September of 2005, the top was shot, the turbo kit was monkeyness everywhere, the interior reeked of cigarettes and fast food, and it needed some love.

The details:
•1993 S13 convertible. Pretty rare, as there were only 8,000 of them built over a 3-year period (1992-93-94). It's been converted to a 5-speed, still has the KA24DE in it. It was originally turbo'd using a BoostDesigns (now out of business) kit. I removed all this due to some monkeyness and returned the car to its original NA state. The oil pan still has a AN fitting for a turbo oil drain, making boost an easy proposition on this car.

• I paid $3,500 for this car a couple years ago, before doing all this work and spending the money listed (which totals about $9700):

*Brand new paint this past June, done by a very good local Chrysler dealership's paint and body shop. It is perfect. Cost: $2,800
*New convertible top one year ago ($1,000 installed).
*New (used) S14 seats ($200) which are comfy and a dramatic upgrade from the crappy stock S13 seats.
*New carpet (install could have gone better, but still pretty nice) $140.
The sunvisors are showing their 14 year-old age, and the dash has a crack in it above the main gauges. That's it.

*New struts (AGX) and springs (H&R) ($600).
*Refurbished real-deal RS Watanabe 8-spoke wheels, the insanely-rare one-piece model that I hunted over a 2-year period (16x8 rear, 16x7 front). New Kumho SPT tires (225 rear, 205 front). About $1,000 in that.
*Xenon front lip ($300).

*Mishimoto aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, and DiF dual adjustable fan controller. No cooling problems with this S13. ($350)
*Autometer Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Boost/Vacuum gauges mounted in a Nissport DIN panel under the stereo ($125)
* Insaaaaanely rare RS Watanabe Falcon steering wheel. The guy at Takumi Project couldn't believe I had this wheel in my car, and he is a RS Watanabe dealer. He asked to see pics, and I sent them to him. It is a nice steering wheel, on top of being so insanely rare in the JDM world. ($350)

*FastBrakes 11" four-piston brakes on the front ($650).
*Car has 114,xxx miles on it, all original, clean history and the title in my hands.

Price: $7,500. It is a steal when you add up everything above.

Optional: I do have a turbo setup for this car that can be purchased for an additional $1,000. It consists of a Treadstone Performance cast iron manifold (new, $300), Garrett T3 turbo that has a $400 rebuild on it from Limit Engineering in Arizona, a Z32 MAF, 50lb MSD injectors and Custom Steel fuel rail, and a FMIC with all piping that bolts right up in this car. For $8,500 total you will have a S13 that will put down about 320hp and be insanely fun to drive with the top down.

IF you are interested, the quickest way to get in contact with me is via this email address: gregkperry AT gmail DOT com. It goes straight to my phone and is checked every 15 minutes.

I will upload photos as attachments momentarily.

The car is located in Huntington, WV. where the OH-KY-WV borders meet, and is easily accessible from I-64.

One photo attached, as this is all I'm allowed at Zilvia.

Many more photos available by email. Simply shoot me an email at gregkperry AT gmail DOT com and I will send them to you.

Thanks.

EDIT: I also have a ECU reprogrammed for the turbo setup. The programming was done by Calum Johnson of Calumsult. He has been doing FWD SR20 ecus for a long time and is the only person I rely on to do ecus. This will be included if the buyer purchases the turbo setup; otherwise, I will keep it.

I will include a Calumsult ECU programmed for the turbo setup (T3, 50lb MSD injectors, Z32 MAF) for free with the purchase of this car.

And...include the original 7-spoke SE alloy wheels that have regular tires on the front and brand new BF Goodrich Drag Radials in 225/50/15 on the rears.

Trying to make this deal as nice as possible for the next owner.

You have done an awesome job restoring this car man! Mad props to you. I almost want to shed a happy tear seeing how clean this car is.
