Zerolift Imports

Just wanted to spread the word since they seem to be on the forums heavily again.

They 'had' me and another gentleman out of parts for our drivetrains.

Mine was shipped without parts that were claimed to have. Still no resolve after almost a year. I was lied to numerous times. Was forced to source parts for myself.

The other gentleman's motor was a rust bucket when he received his. After a recent phone call, it appears none of his issues were resolved.

I contacted forum mods about these issues and having them removed as a sponsor. Obviously business is business, so it's understandable why they are still here.

I'm doubting this thread will remain to be seen, but in hopes to help the community, I felt obligated to post.

Thumbs up Zerolift Autolab

Zerolift Autolab = yes

Dealt with Robert in ordering some tein tie rods. He tried to get tein to drop ship them to my house to save me on shipping and then realized he had some in stock. Received them nicely packaged in two days time.

I would do business again. Had a very smooth transaction.

I didn't have a problem when I bought my SR from then acouple years ago..

As far as a friend of mine though....
I recommended him to get his 3sgte there. He paid for it and they didn't have it in stock but said was being shipped. Well weeks go by and he hears nothing. Calls and Calls, nothing. Then finally got ahold of someone and was told it was stuck in Customs. He was given a fake tracking number. Havent talked to him in awhile but I knew he was seeking a lawyer.

Wait WTF happened to the first thread?
Anyway, I guess I will repost my review in here. I deal with Zerolift Autolab
on a fairly regular basis, atleast once a month. I have bought an SR, and other misc. stuff through them without any issues, so I will continue to go back.

Well everyone, it appears the old Zerolift review was deleted.

Just keep in mind, IT WAS ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I don't know why Zilvia would support a bad company, but whatever.

Just be smart!

Like I said in my old review I had "heard" bad things about these dudes in the pass and I seriously don't get it now. These guys are legit as fuck. Ive purchased some stuff from my car from them and they have beat the price to some quotes and are helping with the drift scene here in the Midwest.

I highly recommend them, and trust me I know scum when I see them and even talk to them. Call Robert, he will do you right. That's my .2 on them.

A+ Dudes!

Zerolift Autolab

Placed an order for some SSR wheels through them from a group buy being held HERE back in late March/April. It's now September, and the last response I got from them was in June.

No more replies to e-mails or PMs. Dispute is currently under way with my credit card. I'm hoping to at least get my money back, nevermind the interest I've paid over the last few months, waiting for this shit to come in.

I'm out $2414.00. That's money that could've been spent elsewhere.

I know these are custom wheels and need to be imported from Japan, but no response since June? At the very least, that's piss poor customer service.

It's not like they're too busy to send a reply either, because I've seen them post updates in the Motorsports section, and in their other group buy section.

i bought my JZ swap kit from them and it was shipped out pretty fast. When i go to put my crossmember on my trans it didnt fit so i sent it back. They said i needed a mount from a supra, since my JZ is from a toyota chaser, but they said they can fix it to fit. I didnt get a reply from them for 2 weeks. When they did reply i get "hey man im sorry im gonna get to that right now, ive been out of town". They must have some lazy ass mechanics over there. I emailed them back and called back three days later and i didnt get a response for another week just to hear that they didnt get to it yet..????... It took almost a month to get back. The day i get it back It still didnt fit so i ended up just buying a trans mount from a supra. So for 3 weeks my car was on jack stands and my trans jacked up. I didnt mind it but they could of just sent it back and tell me to buy a trans mount from a supra.

i have dealt with robert and the dudes at zerolift a few times and they have been nothing but good to me, they are a huge contributor to the drifting scene in the midwest, i have attended many of the drift events they host here in ohio.

however, i'm still waiting on my powerFC weather the fault is on zerolift or apexi. let me know Robert if you read this..

I dealt with them over the summer. Ordered 3 motors off them. I was told they would be in within a week max. Well everytime I called if/when I did get ahold of someone the told me friday at the latest. Piss poor customer service. Well after waiting for a month they said my motors were in but I couldn't pick them up til the following monday.
I basically told them I would be there that Saturday to either pick up the engines or get my money back. I was told they would figure something out and some one would be there. Well me and a friend arrive there bright and early saturday at their "shop" (I use that term lightly.) and you guessed it no one there. Well we did some craigslisting to pass the time and came across an add of theirs on there with an employees # (Anthony I believe). We tell him our dilemma and he said that he didn't have keys to get in the shop but he would try to help us out. Well to make a long story short we were stuck in fairfield Ohio for 3 days waiting. (I reccommend going to Jungle Jims grocery store to kill time)
It turns out our motors were on their trailor along with their drift car and they were coming back from an event. Their truck broke down and blah, blah, blah... I didnt want to hear it. Anywho we ended up getting our engines and I will give them this, the engines were in great shape.
But they need to remember that their customers are the reason they can go to drift events and all that other cool shit. To totally blow off awnsering phone calls, not have a product when you tell the customer it will be in, is totally unacceptable. I understand shit happens but seriously how do you go from a week to a month?

I cannot get ahold of ANYONE. I call and leave voice mails, I send PMs, and emails and dont get ANYTHING in response. I did get one email back 2 weeks ago with some bull shit story about how he has been out of town.

I dont give a fuck where he has been, dont come at me with lame ass excuses that I could give 2 shits about. All I care is about results.

For chirst sakes, these people need to act like they are professionals and have done this before.

I just sent 10 emails (all the same) to everyone's email at the company that I could find on their website. Hopefully that gets some attention.

I have sent 3 "nasty grams" so far and it hasnt gotten me shit for responses. Maybe these people dont care.

Weird. I live about 15 minutes from them and have dealt with them numerous times, and never had an issue. This definitely surprises me.

I know what you mean bro. I seemed to have the best luck getting someone in the evening (5-6pm) Also try using a different phone number when calling them. Its sad that we have to do these things to get in contact with them. O and don't waste your time with email either. Just a few tips hope you have some luck.

I have really no relation to the shop other than to buy things from them and help them run the drift events but i remember this issue. they actually used my car to try and figure out your mount situation.

ive never had any issues with them other than i wanted a cage ordered as a full bolt in but when the order was placed i got a race cage with u weld front. no big deal, it is to my advantage as that cage was more money and definitely more secure and safe.

i talk to robert alot and zerolift is a GREAT company.. ive spent over 9k there and never once had a problem that couldnt be resolved.. they do great work and will help with ANY problems you have.. as for your SSR WHEELS..... custom wheels, custom offset, custom color, and shipping from JAPAN! buddy its gonna take longer then 5 days.. itll take atleast 60 days to ship unless u wanna pay another 1000-1500 to get a 14 day shipping (just throwin numbers but japan shipping takes extremely long).. AFTER they customize your wheels.. its not easy custom making stuff and zerolift doesnt need people like you bashing on them because your to lazy to pick up your phone and try to get ahold of them.. their number is 513-874-2508.. and obviously theyre on here for a reason and well known for they good costumer service and parts..

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE...

Try and stand up for them all you want but there is NO and I mean NO excuse for what is going on here. They might be busy, but they need to be responsive to their customer's needs.

Oh, is has been 14 WEEKS since I ordered my wheels. Thats 100 days. And my wheels ARE NOT custom offsets, ARE NOT custom colors, and ARE NOT custom PCD.

The sizes, offsets, and PCD were ordered directly out of their catalog and they were all stock sizing.

Update: I received a call from Mike last night as I think Robert was a little scared to call me. Mike was a nice guy. I vented some of my frustrations and he gave me the skinny on what was happening. Basically, I was put into a "group buy" to get a better deal without me knowing. So when I placed my order, it actually didnt go in to SSR for another 4 weeks. THEY NEVER TOLD ME THIS. So last night he offered me my money back or I have to wait another 30 days.

Well fuck, what's another 30 days? I am frustrated as hell. This blows ass that they put me in this situation. He strait up told me last night that my wheelw would have been here a month ago if he would have just gone ahead and ordered them direct from SSR when I placed my order.
