i lost track awhile ago...its better that way haha.

you can get it all done for 10 grand but it would be a pretty basic ls swap. it all depends on what kind of deals you can score and what fabrication skills you have.

Fueled Racing Performance

Todd is the man. Extremely helpful and excellent customer service. For real. FP > SIKKY ALL DAY

They claimed that we dont have to bang the tranny tunnel and that the motor sits lower and farther back in the car when compared to sikky. We also dont need a new sway bar! We were sold. The kits however were on backorder. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. We bought 3 and and now Tarmac is an authorized dealer for Fueled Performance mount kits.
I know Todd personally, and he's a great guy. He's also got the best LS swap kit out. +1million for Todd and Fueled. Your build looks great so far.

great progress, I'm curious, what od piping did you use for the radiator support/reinforcement bar.

any particular reason for the 1.5" as opposed to say a 1.25"? From what I can tell on these cars, that part of the car is non-structural in a sense. I'm asking as I'd like to do something similar, but making it removable from both the strut tower mounts and the lower cross member tie in.

1.5x.095 is pretty much the standard but by no means the only size tubing you can use. The tubular front and crash bar are both made out of 1.5x.109. When you are cutting out the front radiator support as well as the tubs as I did on Autris car you need to make sure you have some sort of structure to tie everything back together rather than having both sides of the car act independently of one another. However, smaller tubing will be more than adequate as seen on Dai Yoshiras S13. I prefer the larger tubing on a street application for added protection and the cool factor .

That's what I thought. When looking at supplies I was seeing a lot of 1.5" and so therefore i figured it was for ease of acquisition. As far as bending and shaping the bar, I figured a little smaller od would make this easier to do, but then again id need to pay attention to the wall thickness when going with a smaller od piping.

If I could speak to you personally about this via pm or phone that would be great. And thanks to the OP for putting up with my tangent.

Thanks guys...sorry for the lack of updates...been pretty busy.

I picked up a set of Vertex front fenders and then when they got to my house a month later they turned out to be Kouki fenders. It was the straw that broke this camels back. My first car ever was a white 1997 240sx. Ever since I sold it I've always wanted another kouki so kouki front end swap it is.

Sorry Zenki bros...its been real. I will forever love the Zenki Navan look but I'm moving on to the darkside.

I leave with you with our shop cat checking out some Vertex for me
