Drift Machine Build

Hey guys,

Im Daniel. I just thought i woud share our current build since weve been putting in the work.

After much research we decide to go with the first BorgWarner 67/58 top mount SR20Det turbo kit for immediate turbo response, accessibility, and simplicity while every other Nissan is swapping Sr's for domestic lsx motor transplants, etc.

The weld on the collector is beautiful. However the efr's odd shape sits really close to the strut tower. Hope it's got some firm mounts.

Good question boss,

all steering componets are stock from rack to wheel position. Kit is made to fit stock applications as well as thoses with tubs. We will upgrade all steering components very soon from inner/outer tie rods, bushings, boots, and nuckels.
To increase steering strength and angle.

Thanks boss, the efr is a lil close but once we welded the mani last night, it pulled the turbo in another 1/4" so I think we should be fine.

Looks like a pretty sweet setup. Post a dyno on the EFR please. I'm looking forward to seeing how this setup does.

Quick update

So, we don't have the patience to say the least!

We have decided to take our street s14 with identical setup(motor etc) and put the efr kit on the already running car.

We will hit the dyno this week and be sliding sideways with this new kit on sat, 23 at firebird raceway!

Pics and updates to follow!

good news!

So... we strapped the EFR setup on the car and are proud to say we put one hell of a kit together, atleast we think so LoL.

The kit is on and fits with WORKING A/C and Power steering. Downpipe is obviously tight but is a great fit. just had to share the news and a few pics...

Thanks for looking.

its a wrap

So we put the kit on the car and went driving.
All we can say is wow! hands down best drift turbo on the market...
bare with us, we are almost done with a really in depth write up on this turbo and combination.

in a nutshell, the turbo has plenty of power and hits boost at 2000rpm, no clutch popping. just throttling of the gas breaks the tires loose.

Dyno is sceduled for next wed guys.

we have a short video...enjoy
