Caspers Electronics Weatherpack And Metripack Connector Kits & Refills - JEGS

Metripack is really nice as well. I may do some items with those as the pins tend to seat better than weatherpack. Still both are better than a butt connector IMO.

Huge thanks to Charlie and Scott Y for redoing the driver seat assembly. Now it sits even with passenger. Nothing measure

Accusump mounted

And I will remove the spot welds to completely remove the old hood latch in front of Accusump.

Work work work.....

Here is my seat rail. It's lowered from stock position since hump is removed. Welded to the rail is tabs with floating nut so the rails can be adjusted side to side to accommodate variable width seats.

After all the tedious work that sucks the life out of building a car, a little motivation goes a long way.

More to come soon

Yes, this build is one of the greats, however, the most impressive thing about this thread....

Nobody bitching about the v8?? wow

Looks awesome Scottie!! glad nobody's giving you a hard time about "selling out" with the v8

Yeah, no bitching from me, just surprised (and happy) that there wasn't any in the thread... maybe people are finally letting it go?

Thanks man! I Hope you don't mind if I copy most of your rear bash bar. It's genius!

Aluminum table // Bracket source

Decided to utilize oem bolt holes

Bolted up. Extended intake for upcoming oil filter mount.

I have a question for you guys. Can I make a bracket for the FPR and bolt it to the lip on top of the firewall? It's the perfect spot at the rear of the motor for the fuel line routing but I'm not positive if this violates any safety rules.

Oh and one other thing. Now that I have a radiator surge tank is it okay to remove the original filler neck and cap from the radiator and fill it from the surge tank? I believe this is the ideal way so no air gets trapped. However since the bottom surge tank piece is a -8 which feeds to the water pump outlet it may take a day to fill the damn thing up.

Thanks guys!

Making some headway today.

Trunk can be easily removed

Front fascia got similar treatment

And I just happen to have my rear wheel and 2 mins.

Intake, interior paint and some other stuff coming soon.
