Motul Company Information:
Established in New York over 150 years ago in 1853, MOTUL had its roots in the whale-oil business, used for lanterns. In the 1900's it expanded its lubricant business and started exporting to Europe. In 1932, the Zaugg family, a French distributor bought out the company, but kept the MOTUL brand name. The entire operation moved to France and the brand name MOTUL, was relaunched as a French brand. As for KA engines, both the Amsoil XL series or the Motul 8100 series would be great.

I would recommend carrying AMSOIL - Synthetic Manual Transmission and Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90 (MTG) For our transmissions.

i consulted the amsoil rep when i was making my selections. the severe gear is better than the sythetic manaul transmission and transaxle gear lube. it is fine for both gl-5 and gl-4 transmissions and provides superior protection under hard and aggressive driving situations when compared to the MTG. i can carry the MTG also, but i think severe gear does the job better. we've been using it for a few months so far and it has been wonderful!

the fact that it is gl-4 compliant means it works with gl-4 specs. if it is safe to use with yellow metals then it should be fine. i asked this question specifically to our amsoil rep and he says it should be fine. it is up to you all. i'll get you guys whatever you wanna buy. i've been using the severe gear and it has been working great. we are here to serve and offer you guys the products you want at the best rates possible!

I'm looking for a price shipped to 98125 for 4 quarts AMSOIL SAE 5W-30 100% Synthetic Motor Oil, product ID ASLQT-EA (Not the 5W-30 XL) and for 3 quarts AMSOIL Severe Gear.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the S14 SR20DET takes 3.5 quarts of motor oil (with the OEM oil pan) and 2.5-2.6 quarts of gearbox oil.
